From 5 – 8 September, 2023 in Can Tho City, the Training of Trainers (TOT) Workshop on Gender Equality was organized by the Mekong Delta Climate Resilience Programme (MCRP), with active participation from officials representing various departments, including the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment and Women's Union of An Giang, Bac Lieu, Can Tho, Tien Giang , Vinh Long and Soc Trang.

 Following-up on the capacity building activities of MCRP on gender integration in the provincial planning, the TOT Workshop sets out two objectives: consolidation of gender knowledge and strengthening the training skills of provincial partners, towards further spreading the awareness and knowledge on gender equality promotion across different sectors and at the local levels.

 Feedbacks from Workshop Participants:

• Participants found training meaningful, providing them with essential knowledge and skills.
• There were a shared desire for similar training opportunities in the future to keep participants updated and able to apply their knowledge in their works.
• The TOT workshop offered diverse training methodologies, that provided a comprehensive understanding of gender equality, boosting participants’ confidence both at work and in society.
• The training provides participants with a lot of practical knowledge and applicable skills that they could put to use in their work.
